U.S. HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES (
The Nebraska Democratic Party State Central Committee voted Sunday to have Alisha Shelton represent the party as our U.S. Senate nominee if Chris Janicek leaves the race by Sept. 1, 2020.
The party removed all resources and support from Mr. Janicek after he violated
the NDP Code of Conduct by making sexually inappropriate comments about a staff member during a group text to his campaign workers.Read the full press release.
On July 22, the Lancaster County Democratic Party's Central Committee voted to approve support of the NDP's endorsement of Alisha Shelton if Janicek withdraws. Tell him to step aside. We want Alisha Shelton.
