The White House announced the 30×30 proposal called America The Beautiful — putting 30 percent of the nation’s land and water in conservation status by 2030.
>Read details of Biden’s plan here.John Hansen of the Nebraska Farmers Union said the goal of the Biden plan is to increase incentives for conservation programs and to increase the voluntary conservation cost-share programs.
The plan has been praised by: John Linder, President of the National Corn Growers Association; Kaitlynn Glover, Executive Director of the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association and the Public Lands Council; and Zippy Duvall, President of the American Farm Bureau Federation.
