Former state Sen. Kate Bolz has been named as Nebraska USDA Rural Development Director. Bolz represented the 29th District (Lincoln) in the Legislature district
from 2013 to 2021. She was the 2020 Democratic candidate for Nebraska’s First Congressional District seat.
